The Culturally Adaptive Leader Coaching (CAL-Coaching) program provides the process, structure and expertise to guide participants in awakening their potential to champion Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Antiracism (IDEA). Through this Program, participants discover their strengths and areas for development in navigating and bridging across differences. In addition, they develop the mindset, knowledge and skills that are critical to advancing IDEA in their organization or community. Our program facilitators are highly experienced trainers, certified coaches and licensed administrators of the Intercultural Development Inventory™, a scientifically valid and cross-culturally reliable psychometric tool used around the world and in a wide variety of organizations and sectors.

Develop

For EDI leads & professionals cross industries who want to assess and develop their intercultural competence
Participants will gain an understanding of their level of intercultural competence and engage in targeted activities to achieve greater cultural self-awareness and awareness of others. They will have access to valuable learning resources for continuous personal and professional development. A Certificate will be issued upon completion of the program.

Advance

Advanced Intercultural Skills

Duration 6 months

Participants will gain an understanding of their level of intercultural competence and engage in targeted activities to achieve greater cultural self-awareness and awareness of others. They will know how they are engaging with conflict and the impact culture has on their particular “style”. They will know how to recognize and appreciate how others are engaging with conflict. They will have access to valuable learning resources and a Coaching Manual for continuous personal and professional development. At the end of the program, participants will be assessed using a valid psychometric instrument to see how they have grown and developed. A Certificate will be issued upon completion of the program.

Transforming Culture & Leading Change

For leaders championing organizational IDEA change and strategy and managing high complexity situations
Participants will gain an understanding of their level of intercultural competence and engage in targeted activities to achieve greater cultural self-awareness and awareness of others. They will also know how they are engaging with conflict and the impact culture has on their particular “style”. They will also know how to recognize and appreciate how others are engaging with conflict. Participants in this program will develop the critical competencies necessary to create inclusive and equitable spaces. They will explore the reality of cognitive diversity and understand their unique preferred ways of thinking when processing new information and the behaviours that enable more effective communication with others. They will learn how to communicate and lead others whose ways of thinking may differ from their own. They will have access to valuable learning resources and a Coaching Manual for continuous personal and professional development. At the end of the program, participants will be assessed using valid psychometric instruments to see how they have grown and developed. A Certificate will be issued upon completion of the program.
